Duties

• Structure and form private equity, venture capital, or hedge funds.
• Draft fund documents and negotiate with limited partners.
• Review subscription documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Represent private or institutional investors in fund investments.
• Structure general partner and management companies.
• Apply knowledge of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• Solid academic credentials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.
