A law firm seeks a skilled M&A Associate to join its Transactions and Advisory Group in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will advise corporate clients and private equity funds on acquisitions, dispositions, and minority investments, managing complex deal processes with precision and strategic insight.

Duties

• Advise corporate clients and private equity funds on acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments, and general corporate matters.



• Manage high-level transaction responsibilities, including effective deal management and strategic advisory.



• Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents, including merger agreements, purchase agreements, LLC agreements, and shareholder agreements.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience handling M&A and related strategic transactional work.



• Substantial experience in drafting transaction documents and a strong understanding of corporate law and market terms.



• Proven ability to take on a high level of responsibility with a driven, business development-oriented mindset.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.

Skills

• Expertise in corporate law, M&A transaction structures, and deal management.
