Drive compliance through process improvements, standardization and simplification.

Role Summary/Purpose
Building and executing GE technology & intellectual property (IP)-based business plans and transactions. This role will support partner and customer negotiations for transactions and will work closely with internal GE Licensing (GEL) business development teams to identify new external market opportunities; help shape programs internally across GE Business Units/functions to address the opportunities, prepare and execute them for partnership with third parties. Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in area (or a high school graduate/GED or equivalent with at least 6 years of work experience)
Minimum 3 years’ additional professional work experience in related field
Proficient in English
Ability to travel up to 10% Desired Characteristics
Advanced degree (M.S., M.A., MBA, PhD) in engineering, physical, software, marketing, finance, legal or healthcare sciences
Validated knowledge of building business cases for patent/technology driven programs, including market sizing, valuation and customer identification
5 years’ experience commercializing new technology in healthcare, energy, materials, software, IoT, electrical & mechanical system domains
Demonstrated experience in technology, intellectual property analysis and landscape assessment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience with IP technology transfer, licensing, sale and/or for development across multiple companies
Able to effectively work with all levels of internal and external customers & partners
