A law firm seeks a Corporate Securities Associate in New York, NY. This role involves significant client interaction and participation in all phases of transactional representation for both domestic and international middle-market clients.

Duties

• Participate in representing clients in strategic transactions, including business combinations and restructurings.
• Represent clients in equity and debt financings during growth stages.
• Advise clients on inquiries from regulatory agencies and the business community.
• Perform various client services and support duties as assigned by supervising Partner.

Requirements

• 3-12 years of experience in capital-raising transactions, securities regulation, and mergers & acquisitions.
• Experience in lending transactions, commercial documentation, and corporate governance.
• Excellent drafting, research, analytical, and communication skills.
• New York State Bar admission required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
