Community Outreach Specialist
The candidate will organize, attend, and participate in community stakeholder meetings for the purpose of recruiting full-time, credit, and non-credit students belonging to under-served demographics. Make presentations to community organizations, prospective students/families, and college departments. Organize and maintain a list of community contacts to aide in the colleges outreach efforts. Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from community meetings. Serve on campus committees vital to student enrollment, persistence, and retention. Represents the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at meetings in the absence of the CDO. Performs additional duties as assigned by the Chief Diversity Officer.
