Title IX and Non-Discrimination Investigator

Duties: Provides professional support to the Title IX Coordinator by investigating discrimination and harassment complaints on the basis of protected categories and retaliation complaints. Reports to the Director of Title IX Initiatives/Clery Act Compliance and Title IX Coordinator. Conduct investigations of complaints of discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking. This includes interviewing parties and witnesses; collection, documentation and review of evidence; and following other required investigative procedures based upon established policies. Develop and prepare comprehensive investigative reports based upon investigation findings. Oversee investigations conducted by other investigators. Assist the Title IX Coordinator in the development and implementation of training programs for faculty, staff, and students on equal opportunity, non-discrimination, Title IX and other related topics. Stay abreast of applicable federal and state laws, regulations and guidance.
