A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Dallas, TX, to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 0-4 years of experience in general civil litigation defense, focusing on personal injury, premises liability, product liability, toxic tort, environmental, and oil & gas law.

Duties

• Prepare for trials, including strategy discussions, discovery, and client interviews.
• Conduct legal research and investigate people, businesses, and worksites.
• Draft briefs, memos, and client updates.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.

Requirements

• Active Texas bar license and good standing with the state bar.
• Previous litigation experience required.
• Participation in law review and/or moot court is a plus.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Client-focused mentality and initiative-taking attitude.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
