Duties

• Meet with clients to discuss case details, demonstrating empathy and earning their trust and confidence.



• Communicate regularly with clients and insurance companies regarding claim status, demands, and offers.



• Prepare cases for trial and serve as first or second chair during jury trials as needed.



• Evaluate claims and negotiate settlements to achieve the most favorable results for clients.

Requirements

• Must be a member of the Florida Bar and in good standing.



• Minimum of two years of litigation experience required.



• Experience serving as second chair in jury trials is required; first chair experience is preferred.



• Ability to work independently in an office environment while maintaining a team-oriented approach.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.

Skills

• Superb negotiation skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.



• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.



• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.



• Strong ability to evaluate claims and manage complex litigation matters.
