Duties

• Draft appellate briefs, petitions, and substantive motions.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis.
• Assist with oral argument preparation.
• Provide appellate and litigation support on significant legal issues at the trial-court level.

Requirements

• Meaningful appellate or complex litigation experience.
• Substantial responsibility for legal research and brief writing.
• Prior judicial clerkship or judicial staff attorney experience preferred.
• Outstanding legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in citations and record references.
• Ability to develop clear, persuasive legal arguments.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Sound professional judgment and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Admission to The Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
