Duties

• Take and defend depositions, draft and argue dispositive motions, and attend hearings, mediations, and trials.



• Perform comprehensive legal research and provide detailed analysis of relevant case law.



• Prepare pleadings and correspondence while maintaining clear communication with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar.



• Must possess 3-5 years of practical experience in maritime law.



• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong problem-solving abilities.



• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.
