Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Real Estate Associate in West Palm Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in commercial real estate, including leading acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and development transactions. This role offers the opportunity to evolve into a first-chair attorney with direct client interaction and minimal supervision.

Duties

• Lead complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing, and development matters.
• Draft, negotiate, and close complex contracts while providing practical feedback and issue-spotting.
• Review and analyze title commitments, surveys, and related due diligence materials to identify potential risks.
• Manage matters with limited supervision, serving as a trusted advisor to institutional clients and coordinating deal teams.
• Identify potential zoning issues and coordinate with consultants regarding zoning and land use matters.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial real estate experience at a regional or national law firm.
• Admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission to the Florida Bar.
• Ability to work independently, proactively manage matters, and maintain sound judgment.
• Experience working with institutional clients and coordinating multi-party deal teams.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.
