Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Labor & Employment Associate for its Boca Raton, FL office. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of litigation experience handling Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and state counterpart matters. This role requires strong writing skills, substantial HR counseling experience, and the ability to practice in federal and state courts and before agencies such as the EEOC and DOL.

Duties

• Manage a wide array of employment litigation matters in federal and state courts.
• Provide human resources counseling and training to clients.
• Represent clients before the EEOC, DOL, and other federal and state agencies.
• Draft legal briefs, motions, and correspondence with high-quality writing.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of solid litigation experience in employment matters.
• Experience with Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and state counterparts.
• Substantial experience in human resources counseling and training.
• Florida Bar admission is required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.
