Corporate Counsel
The candidate will be partnering with business colleagues to understand business priorities. Drafting agreements for commercial activities for a healthcare company that will necessarily require review and analysis on (Stark, AKS, CMP, fraud and abuse, etc.). Advising on clinical research law (informed consent required and related issues). Providing legal and business support on commercial transactions. Structuring, negotiating and drafting commercial, research and technology arrangements. Advising on privacy law with working knowledge of HIPAA, CCPA, and GDPR. Providing strategic input, assessment and judgment on business opportunities and risks. Should have a J.D. from a recognized law school and admission to at least one State Bar required. Must have 4-5 years of legal experience. Working knowledge of healthcare compliance matters including HIPAA, Stark, and AKS. Team player with demonstrated leadership skills. Strong negotiating and drafting skills in complex corporate and commercial arrangements. Must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and be self-motivated. Ability to appropriately balance legal and business risks. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated self-initiative and tendency to be proactive.
