Creativebug, a start-up in San Francisco that creates high-quality video workshops, is looking for a talented, creative and meticulous Senior Content Editor. Creativebug is a membership-based site that creates art and craft workshops with some of the most well-respected designers – including sewing, knitting, screen printing, and more. Our company is small and staffed with go-getters who bring creative and original thinking to all aspects of their jobs. This position reports to the Editorial Director and is responsible for content production, from acquiring new instructors and shaping their classes through production and release.  Job Responsibilities:

Recruit new instructors for the site and work closely with them to develop strong and compelling classes
Manage workflow from inception through production process, including setting deadlines and communicating with instructors
Build and maintain relationships with instructors and contacts within the craft landscape
Expand class offerings with a thoughtful and keen eye on identifying and incorporating trends
Work with Production, Marketing and Development teams to support and promote content

 Job Requirements:

3-5 years editorial/publishing experience, preferably in crafts
Strong multi-tasking, organizational and communication skills
Proven track record of managing editorial process
Manage long and short term deadlines with aplomb
Ability to work closely with all teams to create kickass content
Technical knowledge of craft categories
Write copy including site and marketing copy, contribute to blog and social media feeds
