Postdoc Research Associate
The candidate will perform legal research and prepare memoranda; assist attorneys and other University personnel with various transactional matters, including contract review and approval processes; support litigation and other dispute resolution efforts; provide assistance with regard to labor and employment matters; assist with information requests, including subpoenas and FOIA responses; provide informed and expedient advice and counsel related to various compliance and regulatory matters; other duties involving the full scope of work of the Office of University Counsel as assigned. Must have a J.D. degree and admission (or pending application) to Illinois Bar. Should have graduated or be expected to graduate from an ABA-accredited law school by August 15, 2020.
