Executive Director of Gift Planning

Duties: Develop, promote, and implement a comprehensive university-wide gift planning program. Work with and collaborate with major gifts officers, deans, and faculty in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding planned prospects and donors. Will work to develop policies and procedures for the raising, processing, and acknowledging of planned gifts. Develop and implement an annual university-wide operating plan for gift planning. Identify and cultivate relationships with planned giving prospects for the purpose of solicitation. Manage a personal portfolio of planned giving prospects. Develop and implement educational and training opportunities. Oversee and collaborate on the creation of marketing materials (online and print) for donors that highlight gift planning opportunities. Promote and enhance stewardship for all gift planning donors. Provide expertise and assistance to school based directors of development. Develop planned giving proposals and provide financial calculations and related information. Serve as ambassador to university and community groups to share information about the planned giving program.
