Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Project Development Associate to join their Energy and Natural Resources Group in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 8 years of experience in project development, mergers and acquisitions, and project finance transactions.

• Duties
• Represent developers, manufacturers, sponsors, investors, and lenders in project development.
• Draft and negotiate supply agreements, EPC agreements, O&M agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Engage in the development, construction, acquisition, financing, and operation of energy and infrastructure projects.
• Requirements
• 2 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Active bar membership in the state of practice.
• Experience with renewable energy projects preferred.
• Education
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Certifications
• Active state bar membership.
• Skills
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
