Job Overview

A law firm seeks experienced litigation attorneys to join its civil litigation team in Atlanta, GA. The firm offers a membership track with defined benchmarks, formal mentorship, and hybrid work options after integration. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of practice experience and hands-on exposure to all phases of civil litigation, from case inception to trial.

Duties

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations, identifying pleading requirements and delegating tasks to paralegals as needed.



• Prepare discovery responses, manage document production, and attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.



• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary while maintaining regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in Georgia or have pending Georgia bar exam results.



• At least two years of practice experience, with prior insurance defense experience encouraged.



• Willingness to learn and work autonomously and within a team structure.



• Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.



• Initiative and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.

Education

• Juris Doctorate or better.

Certifications

• Active Bar license in Georgia or pending bar exam results.
