Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Business Litigation Associate to join its sophisticated Minneapolis, MN team. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to handle high-stakes, complex litigation matters for clients across diverse industries, supported by a national platform with strong local relationships.

Duties

• Manage a diverse and challenging caseload, assuming significant responsibilities from the outset.


• Draft complex opinions, motions, and legal memoranda while conducting thorough file analysis.


• Conduct depositions and interview witnesses to build strong case strategies.


• Handle disputes involving life, health, and disability claims under ERISA and non-ERISA plans.


 

Requirements

• Must be admitted to the Minnesota Bar and in good standing.


• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience handling complex legal matters.


• Demonstrated ability to manage a varied docket with attention to detail.


 

Education

• Strong academic background from an accredited law school.


 

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Minnesota.


 

Skills

• Excellent legal writing and analytical skills required.


• Experience with cross-border or multi-jurisdictional matters is a plus.


• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
