Job Overview

A law firm seeks a remote Senior Attorney to join its defense-side litigation practice in Boston. The ideal candidate brings over eight years of experience managing high-volume caseloads and negotiating settlements. This role requires strong legal research, writing, and case-management skills, alongside the ability to handle competing deadlines and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues. Experience with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), federal court litigation, or plaintiff-side practice is helpful but not required.

Duties

• Manage a high volume of defense-side litigation matters from inception through resolution.



• Negotiate settlements and manage competing deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.



• Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft persuasive legal documents and correspondence.



• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal colleagues to advance case strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of experience in a comparable law firm or litigation environment.



• Bar admission in at least one of the following states: Florida, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Michigan, Illinois, or Texas.



• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong academic credentials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in one of the specified states.

• Proficiency in legal research, writing, and case management.



• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.



• Strong interpersonal skills for client and counsel interaction.
