A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney in Newton, MA, to support senior counsel in high-conflict family law litigation and real estate conveyancing. Duties

• Support senior attorneys with all aspects of client representation, from initial intake through settlement or trial in family law matters involving custody, support, and asset division.



• Assist partners with real estate conveyancing matters, including purchases, sales, and refinances, gaining exposure to transactional workflows.



• Develop proficiency in appearing before the Probate & Family Court as responsibilities grow.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in high-conflict family law litigation is preferred.



• Experience in real estate conveyancing is considered a plus.



• Ability to commit to a full-time, in-person role, with hybrid schedules considered for exceptional candidates.



• Must thrive in a busy environment and feel comfortable working independently as part of a larger team.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Massachusetts Bar license in good standing.

Skills

• Strong litigation skills in family law matters.



• Reliability and diligence in managing case loads and deadlines.



• Ability to handle complex client interactions and legal documentation.
