This in-office role requires an organized professional to manage statute of limitations monitoring, lead insurance negotiations, and oversee case management teams. Duties

• Monitor statute of limitations across assigned cases, flagging at-risk matters immediately and auditing case management software for deadline integrity.



• Lead settlement negotiations with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel, approving demand packets and driving favorable outcomes on high-value matters.



• Oversee one to two case management teams, setting legal strategy at key inflection points and mentoring staff on demand strategy and negotiation techniques.



• Coordinate with internal departments such as Demands, Liens, Medical Records, and Property Damage to ensure seamless case progression and compliance with professional conduct standards.

Requirements

• Active California Bar license in good standing is required.



• Minimum of two years of personal injury pre-litigation experience, including demands, negotiations, and policy-limit cases.



• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track deadlines across a high volume of cases without error.



• Ability to read and interpret medical records, treatment timelines, and damages models effectively.



• Clear communication skills with the ability to lead and develop case management staff.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California Bar license.

Skills

• Experience with Filevine case management software is preferred.



• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is preferred.



• Knowledge of California Rules of Professional Conduct and HIPAA standards.
