Job Overview

A law firm seeks a General Liability Litigation Attorney to join their team in Baltimore, Maryland. The attorney will focus on pre-suit matters, guiding clients through the case process and managing a team of case managers.

Duties

• Handle all pre-litigation work daily
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process
• Guide clients through the case process
• Draft and file pre-litigation documents
• Complete TD approval for liability issues
• Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation
• Manage the release approval process
• Supervise a team of 6-10 case managers
• Focus on general liability cases
• Drive compliance and KPIs among the team
• Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the MD State Bar Association
• 1+ years of experience in general liability or personal injury
• Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
