A law firm seeks a Commercial Litigation Associate for its Phoenix, Arizona office. The ideal candidate will have four to six years of experience in complex commercial litigation and an active Arizona bar license or a commitment to obtain one promptly.

Duties

• Conduct factual investigations and discovery.
• Prepare pleadings and take depositions.
• Argue motions and participate in mediation.
• Communicate effectively with clients.
• Engage in both state and federal court proceedings.

Requirements

• Four to six years of commercial litigation experience preferred.
• Experience in administrative matters and arbitrations beneficial.
• Second-chair experience at trial or arbitration preferred.
• Interest in transportation and supply chain issues is a plus.
• Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Active Arizona bar license or commitment to obtain one.
