Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid- to senior-level Real Estate Finance Associate to join its Debt, Servicing and Restructuring group in Atlanta, GA. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a variety of financial and real estate matters, including senior, mezzanine, and equity financing, acquisitions, dispositions, development, foreclosures, and workouts.

Duties

• Represent lenders and commercial real estate developers in transactions.
• Manage real estate and finance matters across the United States.
• Engage in acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects.
• Handle foreclosures and workout negotiations.

Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of commercial real estate finance experience.
• Experience representing bank and/or non-bank lenders.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, and/or Texas.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• State Bar admission in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, and/or Texas.
