Duties

• Manage plaintiff-side automobile negligence litigation from filing through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Handle discovery, including drafting, responding, and resolving issues.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Participate in case evaluations, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Evaluate liability, damages, medical records, and settlement strategy.
• Collaborate with clients, paralegals, and court personnel.
• Prepare cases for settlement, trial, or other resolutions.
• Exercise sound legal judgment and maintain communication with leadership.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the Michigan Bar.
• 2+ years of Michigan auto litigation experience preferred.
• Experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
• Ability to manage a litigation caseload effectively.
• Strong understanding of pleadings, discovery, and case evaluation.
• Professional communication skills.
• Disciplined, self-directed, and results-oriented work style.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the Michigan Bar.
