Job Overview

A law firm seeks a dynamic Labor and Employment Associate with 3-4 years of litigation experience to join their Houston, TX office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and employment litigation, including temporary restraining orders, trade secret misappropriation, and wage and hour class actions.

Duties

• Handle temporary restraining order and injunction proceedings.
• Litigate trade secret misappropriation and noncompete cases.
• Manage wage and hour class action and single plaintiff employment litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
• Participate in trial preparation and settlement negotiations.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of labor and employment litigation experience.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Experience in state and federal court proceedings.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Education

• JD from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Active member of the Texas Bar in good standing.
