Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join their Real Estate Finance group in Denver, CO, with a preference for Atlanta. The candidate should have excellent academic credentials and experience in a law firm or similar environment.

Duties

• Represent lenders/buyers and/or borrowers/sellers in commercial real estate financing transactions.
• Handle loan originations, refinancings, restructurings, and preferred equity financings.
• Manage warehouse lending structures, CRE repurchase facilities, and note-on-note transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate financing documents.
• Oversee due diligence and all aspects of transaction closings.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in real estate finance.
• Superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of intended practice.
