A law firm seeks a highly motivated and collaborative Transactional Associate Attorney to join their Airports Practice in Denver, CO, or Orlando, FL. This role involves sophisticated deal work across various projects, including airports, real estate development, construction, and public finance. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial instincts and excellent judgment, with a desire to manage complex matters.

Duties

• Serve as a key member of the nationwide airports practice, collaborating with attorneys across various practice areas.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of agreements, including development and procurement contracts.
• Work directly with clients on navigating complex federal regulatory and funding schemes related to airport operations and development.
• Advise clients on project development, infrastructure delivery, and real estate transactions.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits, and industry conferences through periodic travel.

Requirements

• Approximately 3 to 5 years of transactional legal experience; more extensive experience is also welcome.
• Exceptional drafting, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and sound judgment in complex client matters.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic work environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team setting.

Education

• Law degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction (CO, NY, FL, or CA preferred).

Skills

• Experience with complex commercial or real estate transactions.
• Familiarity with federal regulatory frameworks related to airports or transportation.
• Experience in airport operations, law, or project finance.
