Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Litigation Associate in Dallas, Texas. This full-time, in-office role involves managing a docket of real estate and commercial litigation matters, providing direct client contact, and participating actively in trials.

Duties

• Manage caseload of real estate and commercial litigation from intake to resolution.
• Develop case strategy and oversee discovery, motions, and trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Appear at hearings and prepare for trials and arbitrations.
• Direct paralegals and mentor junior attorneys.
• Serve as primary client contact.

Requirements

• J.D. and admission to the State Bar of Texas.
• Five or more years of litigation experience in private practice.
• Experience in landlord-tenant, construction defect, title and lien, or foreclosure litigation is a plus.
• Strong legal writing and sound judgment.
• Comfort with direct client contact and trial work.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
