Job Overview

A law firm seeks a dedicated Family Law Litigation Attorney in Dallas, TX, to represent clients navigating complex personal legal matters. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to manage a high volume of cases while collaborating with senior leadership to deliver strategic counsel and effective courtroom representation.

Duties

• Analyze client situations to develop strategic legal courses of action and address specific family law needs.



• Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders.



• Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to efficiently manage case files through the civil litigation process.



• Represent clients at court hearings and proceedings, ensuring vigorous advocacy and clear communication.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.



• Must be eligible to work in the United States.



• Must reside in the Dallas metroplex or be willing to commute to Dallas for hybrid work requirements.



• At least one year of courtroom and civil litigation experience is preferred.



• Experience handling divorce matters is desired.



• Experience handling child custody matters is desired.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Texas State Bar membership in good standing.

Skills

• Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities in family law contexts.



• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and court advocacy.



• Ability to manage a high volume of cases with attention to detail.
