A law firm seeks a California-licensed attorney to join its litigation team in Del Mar, California. This full-time, in-office role offers substantial courtroom experience and the opportunity to manage cases from inception through post-judgment proceedings in a dynamic environment.

Duties

• Manage a high-volume caseload of commercial and consumer collection matters.
• Appear in court, both in person and virtually, for collections cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Communicate with clients regarding case status and strategy.
• Collaborate with attorneys and team leads on case management and business development.
• Work with a team of paralegals and litigation professionals.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of litigation experience.
• Active California Bar license required; additional state licenses are a plus.
• Knowledge of creditors' rights and collection law preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and case management abilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active California Bar license.
