Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join their team in the Greater Richmond Region. The successful candidate will work full-time on-site, engaging in a variety of legal tasks and supporting senior attorneys in complex legal matters.

Duties

• Draft and review legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analyze case law.
• Prepare memoranda and legal opinions.
• Provide legal advice to clients and assist with negotiations.
• Support senior attorneys in case strategy, hearings, and proceedings.
• Manage case files and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in firm initiatives.

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission or eligibility for admission in Virginia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
• Experience in a law firm or clerkship preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission or eligibility for admission in Virginia.

Skills
