A law firm seeks an IP Litigation Attorney to join its Houston, TX office. The ideal candidate brings a minimum of five years of intellectual property and patent litigation experience within a large to mid-sized law firm environment. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex patent disputes and contribute to a dynamic litigation practice.

Duties

• Manage and litigate complex intellectual property and patent disputes from pre-suit through trial.


• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, and prepare witnesses for deposition.


• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.


 

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of intellectual property patent litigation experience in a large to mid-sized law firm.


• Active membership in the Texas State Bar in good standing.


• Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills with a proven track record in litigation.


 

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.


 

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Texas.


 

Skills

• Expertise in patent law, civil procedure, and federal court litigation.
