2021 EDGE Internship Program
The intern should be an Engineering and Science student. Will work on assignment including patent research and writing. Firm will teach the basics of patent law through a training boot camp, including: patent; review invention disclosures and perform a patent search; draft patent applications, including drafting specifications and preparing drawings; patent prosecution entail, and how does the application process work and more. Enrollment in a bachelors or masters degree program required. Majoring in one of the following: electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering, and computer science. Majors in the life sciences are also accepted. Preferred graduation date of May or December of 2021 or 2022. Passion for technology and a genuine interest in patent law (no previous experience necessary). Highly proficient research skills and demonstrated analytical ability required. Detail-oriented with excellent time management and follow-up skills required. Possesses strong initiative and is proactive in working with others required. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
