Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Project Development Associate to join their Energy and Natural Resources Group in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a background in representing developers, manufacturers, sponsors, investors, and lenders in project development, mergers and acquisitions, and project finance transactions.

Duties

• Represent clients in energy and infrastructure project development and finance transactions.
• Draft and negotiate supply agreements, EPC agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Advise on the development, construction, acquisition, and operation of energy projects.

Requirements

• 2 to 8 years of relevant experience.
• Active member of the bar in the state of practice.
• Experience with renewable energy projects preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the state of practice.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
