A law firm seeks a highly skilled Litigation Associate Attorney with approximately five years of experience to join their team in Miami, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation matters in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Duties

• Represent corporate clients in Federal and State Courts for civil actions.
• Collaborate with forensic experts to assess legal and financial viability of cases.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, and briefs.
• Prepare for and present at court hearings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Maintain communication with clients and opposing counsel.
• Conduct bench and jury trials.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida bar is required.
• Minimum of five years of litigation experience.
• Experience with product defect, property damage, construction, or insurance claims preferred.
• Experience working with forensic experts is highly desired.
• Proficiency in legal document drafting and legal research.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
