Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Labor & Employment Associate for its Miami, Florida office. The ideal candidate will bring 2-5 years of litigation experience across a broad spectrum of employment matters, including Title VII, FMLA, ADA, and FLSA. This role requires strong writing skills, substantial experience in HR counseling and training, and the ability to practice in federal and state courts as well as before agencies such as the EEOC and DOL.

Duties

• Manage and litigate a wide array of employment matters in federal and state courts.
• Provide comprehensive human resources counseling and conduct training for clients.
• Represent clients before the EEOC, DOL, and other federal and state agencies.
• Draft legal briefs, motions, and correspondence with excellent writing proficiency.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of solid litigation experience in employment law matters.
• Experience handling cases involving Title VII, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and state counterparts.
• Proven track record in HR counseling and training within a legal context.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Florida Bar membership is required.
