Job Overview

Duties

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations, identifying pleading requirements and delegating tasks to paralegals.



• Prepare discovery responses, manage document production, and attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events.



• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial while maintaining regular communication with support staff.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of insurance coverage litigation or other relevant experience.



• Must be licensed to practice law in North or South Carolina.



• A portable book of business is considered a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctorate or better.

Certifications

• Active Bar membership in North or South Carolina.

Skills

• Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse clientele and colleagues.



• Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.



• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn database management systems.



• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
