Performsncomplex product and service training to customers. Performs installationsnon control systems and completes documents of all installations, inspections,nmaintenance and repair work, and failures. Performs routine systems calls andninterfaces with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback onnproblem evaluation and resolution. Performs assessment of complexnproduct/equipment performance based on field support data and recommendsnmodifications or improvements. Responsibilities n Coordinates, manages, implementsn and/or performs technical product support for equipment that has beenn newly installed.  n Performs System Preparation &n Design Coordination: works with engineering group to create and/or verifyn point database; creates/reviews job specific programming via computer forn various systems (controls, (ESS), creates /reviews and uploads pointn database, creates graphics in the Central Processing Unit (CPU).  n Network Technologies: verifiesn point database and programming operations are consistent with scope ofn work for the intended integration and sequence; backs up data from datan servers and/or creates automated backup procedure; troubleshoots andn resolves inconsistencies in the functions or sequence of operations;n contacts Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for technical supportn as/when needed; drives issues to resolution. n Sets up and configures PCn workstations, user interfaces; data servers, IP Networking devices,n protocols, routers, switches, mass storage devices and hubs. Confirmn proper network performance.n Project Site Communication and Coordination: Schedules with traden contractors to coordinate startup services as needed; coordinates networkn drops, IP addresses and monitoring tools with customer's IT Departmentn personnel; works with equipment vendors to coordinate communicationn protocols, encryption, and database requirements for integration to theirn systems.  n Operational Testing, Verificationn and Acceptance: Runs reports to analyze system operation, works withn customer to demonstrate system operation and verify consistency with then contracted scope of work (IE Commissioning Agents or test and balancen contractors, others); participates in final inspection and testing;n assures customer acceptance; trains customers on system operations. n Completes and submits writtenn reports; provides Plans & Control System Documents to engineering forn as-built drawings.n Required Knowledge/Skills, Educationnand Experience n HS diploma or equivalent required. n Specialized skilln training/certification may be required. n Successfully demonstratesn thorough/ advanced knowledge of a technical or specialty area. n Generally, 2 plus years ofn successful experience in area of responsibility and successfuln demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. n Previous Building Automation orn DDC Controls experience. n Individual must possess a validn Driver’s license in good standing n Individual must be at least 21n years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan nQualified Applicants mustnbe legally authorized for employment in the Unites States#LI_MO1Organization: Smart InfrastructureCompany: **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***..Experience Level: Mid-level ProfessionalJob Type: Full-timeEqual Employment Opportunity StatementSiemens is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
