Job Summary

As Director of Technology Architecture on the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Business Service team, you will provide mentorship to the Software Engineering teams and other departments in identifying common architectural patterns, tools & technologies across Business Services domains, collaborating with other Application and Enterprise Architects. Ensures technical architectures are aligned with technical, business, and enterprise architecture objectives and directions. Contributes to functional strategy development.

Job Description

What are some exciting problems you'll be working on?

Develops and implements strategies for functional area(s) and works with project personal to develop architectural standards, project standards, and performance metrics. Works with Supervisors and Managers to ensure all applications meet architectural, project specifications and requirements. Provides leadership and direction for teams which may include multiple functional areas. May have responsibility for developing and handling budget.

In this position, you will work with the most creative minds in **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. while we roll out our future state BSS/OSS Architecture supporting 20 products across Small Business, Mid-Market & Enterprise Solution customer base. This role will be leading adoption of new technology stacks across multiple domains & applications.

What You'll Do:


Oversees the technical architecture and design of software, web, cloud, and mobile applications, without a bias toward specific technologies, the ability to embrace new ideas, and establish culture of open and objective review.
Serves as primary point of contact and liaison between Software Engineering and the Enterprise Architecture team.
Provides Technical Architecture leadership to all custom development teams.
Ensures all architects and engineers keep current with architectural and technological developments within the industry. Monitors and evaluates driven applications and products.
Drives collaboration and partnership across Business Services domains, CXT domains, and the TPX organization.
Leads research and development for technical architecture. Providing leadership for innovation within and across teams.
Creates and drives strategies in alignment with the Company's overall vision and business goals.
Will define technical architecture standards and frameworks with regards to coding, programming, and the general development of applications for multiple platforms.
Leads Technical Architecture, Software Development and Engineering teams in the development of new software, web, and mobile applications, and leads the continued support for existing applications and applications in development.
Responsible for ensuring and enforcing deadlines, specifications, and budgets. Develops and implements performance metrics. Reviews and reports on project progress to leadership team.
Prepares and handles budget(s) and financial targets.
Continuously researches new techniques with respect to coding technology and coding practices.
Works with the Engineering team to implement new techniques that benefit the goals of the organization.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Salary:

Pay Range: $136,498.44 - $204,747.65
