Summary:
This position will be responsible for leading a team of Supply Chain Planning Reporting specialists. Through partnership with IT, this team is accountable for providing ongoing reporting systems and process support and identifying ways to improve Supply Chain Planning performance through analytics. The analytical team operates as trusted advisors to Supply Chain Planning and rest of the Supply Chain Planning support team in a matrix organization structure. This position mentors the team of Supply Chain Planning Reporting Specialists in business rule development and corporate and industry-wide analytic initiatives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:
Lead the implementation of new processes metrics, decision making tools, and creating visual presentations and insights for leadership.
Leadership, problem solving, training, and mentoring to ensure the Supply Chain Planning Reporting team is delivering actionable insights to Tyson through reporting and analytics.
Business acumen, a broad understanding of business processes, and critical thinking skills will be key to this position’s success.
Collaborate closely with functional groups including but not limited to Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Distribution, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and Inventory Management, as well as IT.
Requirements:
Strong leadership skills and a strong ability to execute strategies in an environment of conflicting expectations are critically important to this role.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 5 years of relevant experience
COMPUTER SKILLS: Strong computer skills including Access, Excel SAP BOBJ, WEBI, and AFE, Tableau, Power BI, and Multi-Dimensional Data Modelling
COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Excellent written and verbal communication to directors and Senior Leadership explaining complex data analysis results resolving inter-departmental issues.
SUPERVISORY: 3 direct reports
TRAVEL: Some travel may be required. Amount of travel will be determined by individual project requirements.
This position can be based out of our Chicago office, or our Springdale, AR office.
