We are currently seeking an exceptional and process-driven Senior Technical Support Engineer with Databases Administration skills. This position will include actively involved in escalations and must have strong troubleshooting skills, possesses thorough understanding of the organization's products and services, reports to Technical Support Manager. Function as the primary customer contact for escalated issues. Point of escalation for complex issues: know how to handle and continue troubleshooting when issues are escalated. • Directly oversee the 24/7/365 management, monitoring and support • Escalate customer DB issues and function as a liaison between the Support organization and R&D DBA’s • Follow up with customers when customer satisfaction issues is raised • Occasional travel to customer sites to perform on-site troubleshooting, upgrades, etc. • Reports to Support Center Manager • Other tasks and duties as assigne

Perform research and analysis and recommend next steps to resolve customer issues

Essential Education, Skills & Experience
2 years of experience as Tier-III
2 years of experience in as a Network Support Engineer (advantage).
Hands on experience with operating systems: Windows Server 2003 or 2008, Linux
Hands-on experience with IIS or client-server application
Network troubleshooting and analytical skills
Knowledge of Web protocols (e.g., HTTP, ASP, XML, etc.).
Thorough Databases administration knowledge include Oracle 10g 11g SQL 2005, 2008
Data Base Administration certification (advantage)
Thorough Databases troubleshooting skills include
· Knowledge of configure jobs in SQL
Knowledge with performing backups, recoveries, and installations in both SQL and Oracle
· Monitor and troubleshoot disk space, and server availability
· Knowledge to assign DB to users and set permissions properly
· Working with Oracle enterprise and standards DB’s, partitions
· Vast knowledge of scripting and creating queries to extract data from the DB (or specific tables)
· Managing tables and transferring data
Ability to multitask, work independently, manage own daily schedule and prioritize activities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in high-pressure and fast paced environment
Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Cisco wireless hardware, Wireless Control System (WCS) and Mobility Services Engine (MSE)
The candidate is expected to pass a Database hands-on exam.
