Visiting Lecturer - Legal Analysis, Research and Writing
The candidate will be likely to be assigned to teach two sections of the LARW course for the full academic year. Typical class size ranges from 17 to 22. Applicants must have a law degree, strong academic record, and at least three years of post-law school experience that demonstrates the potential for excellence in teaching legal writing and other practical lawyering skills. Teaching experienced and admission to the bar is preferred but not required. Strong applicants will demonstrate, strong legal writing skills and substantial writing experience, potential for excellence in teaching, commitment to mentoring students, commitment to creating an inclusive environment for students from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and enthusiasm about working as part of a team to continuously improve our first-year writing curriculum.
