Our client is a venture-funded online advertising startup headquartered in Ventura, CA with offices in New York City; Boulder, CO, San Francisco; Los Angeles; and Frankfurt, Germany. They are a friendly, cohesive team of software engineers, business development professionals, media buyers, and product managers that work with a relaxed intensity.
Their newest office in Boulder, CO is located on the Pearl Street Mall near many other local startups and tons of great restaurants and breweries. They are minutes from the best running and biking trails in the world, world class rock climbing and the nearest ski resorts where we regularly celebrate powder days. We’re looking to continue building out our Engineering team in Boulder, CO with individuals who get excited about wowing our customers with the best product in the online advertising world and help them be successful with our real time bidding (RTB) platform.
Position: C#/.Net Engineer Lead/Manager
Location: Downtown Boulder, CO (with potential to work from home!)
Terms: Full-Time Direct Hire
Who are we looking for?
In short, great software engineers. You love learning new technology and software. You want to work in all aspects of the software stack from user interface to backend data crunching on the terabyte of data we create a day, to our real time systems that handle nearly a million transactions a second. You get excited about designing and building out web and mobile applications that are easy to use while still being powerful.
Key Day to Day Responsibilities
This person will be coding 50% of the time and will have a team of 5 engineers initially reporting to him/her.
Work with Product Management to help define features and drive enhancements to our platform.
Design, build, test, deploy, maintain, enhance; basically go as far as you want with features in our system.
Implement products and features in a fast moving, iterative environment on a consistent basis.
Code everything from CSS and JS to backend webservice APIs to realtime systems to hadoop data crunching
Requirements
5-7 years of software development experience
You enjoy leading and managing an engineering team and want to share your knowledge.
You have experience with C#/.Net
Big plus if you’ve worked with Hadoop or other big data platforms or have worked in high transaction realtime systems.
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university in Computer Science or related discipline
It would be huge bonus if you have experience in online advertising.
