Duties

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications for complex inventions in wireless telecommunications, electrical hardware, software, and mechanical fields.


• Provide strategic client counseling on standards-essential patents and post-grant proceedings.


• Collaborate with technical experts and team members to develop robust patent strategies.


• Engage in pro bono public service work and contribute to community-building and diversity initiatives.


 

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.


• Strong academic record with a technical degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, or equivalent fields.


• Experience in wireless telecommunications, communication networks, semiconductors, cloud computing, or data security is preferred.


• Demonstrated growth mindset, team orientation, and ability to thrive in an innovative environment.


 

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.


• Technical degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.


 

Certifications

• Active registration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is required.
