A law firm seeks a Privacy Attorney in Boulder, CO. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in data privacy and security compliance, gained at a top national or international firm or a sophisticated in-house department.

Duties

• Advise clients on privacy and cybersecurity compliance.
• Draft privacy policies and implement internal governance.
• Conduct internal investigations for corporate privacy compliance.
• Prepare and respond to data breaches.
• Draft and negotiate data privacy terms in commercial contracts.
• Provide M&A support on privacy and security issues.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed or willing to become licensed in Colorado.
• Minimum four years of experience in data privacy and security compliance.
• Knowledge of privacy laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and others.
• Experience with privacy/AI compliance programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and AI-enabled software.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Colorado or willingness to obtain.
