Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Technology Transactions and Data Privacy Associate to join their Intellectual Property & Technology Transactions Group in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience in technology transactions, data privacy, and related technology/IP matters, preferably at a large law firm.

Duties

• Advise clients on complex commercial technology transactions and data privacy matters.
• Lead negotiations on sophisticated commercial transactions.
• Structure innovative technology deals and advise on product development strategies.
• Counsel clients on compliance with U.S. state and international privacy laws.
• Develop and implement privacy programs and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Three to five years of experience in technology transactions and data privacy.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial technology agreements.
• Familiarity with U.S. and international privacy laws, including CCPA/CPRA and GDPR.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with sound business judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and interact directly with clients.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
