The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with a managing shareholder who will mentor in all aspects of litigating a Workers' Compensation case from inception to trial. Will have appearances before the Florida Division of Workers' Compensation, evaluating the merits of a Workers' Compensation case, including taking depositions, providing guidance and counsel to the clients through effective communication, medical review, negotiating and settling cases. Must have 1 to 3 years Workers' Compensation experience. Should have Admission to the Florida Bar, as well as excellent academic credentials required. Should possess excellent communication, research and writing skills, and be capable of working independently and as a team. Should have a firm understanding of the Florida Workers' Compensation law, the ability to handle large caseload and effective leadership skills. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 and legal specific software Filevine a plus.
