A law firm in Palm City, FL, seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its estate planning and probate practice. The ideal candidate will manage client consultations, draft complex estate documents, and represent clients in probate proceedings. Duties

• Lead client consultations to assess estate planning needs and design tailored legal strategies.



• Draft, review, and finalize wills, trusts, and related estate documents with precision.



• Collaborate with clients and advisors to ensure seamless trust funding and asset management.



• Represent clients in probate court proceedings and attend occasional hearings.



• Stay current on legal trends and changes in estate planning laws to provide informed advice.



• Foster strong client relationships through consistent communication and exceptional service.

Requirements

• Must be a member in good standing of The Florida Bar.



• Experience drafting at least 50 estate plans and/or serving as attorney of record for 25 probate cases.



• Ability to manage a full caseload with strong organizational skills.



• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.



• LLM in taxation or estate planning is preferred.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Florida.

Skills

• Strong research and legal writing capabilities.



• Experience in Elder Law and/or Guardianship is helpful but not required.



• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness.



• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members.
